Barbecue Spiced Shrimp

Ingredients: 10 16/20 Shrimp, peeled & deveined with tail on; 1 Tbsp Fresh Ginger, minced; 6 cloves Garlic, minced; 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon; 1 tsp Kosher Salt; 1 tsp Ground Cumin; 2 tsp Ground Turmeric; 1/2 Fresh lime, squeeze for juice; 3 Tbsp Avocado Oil; 1 Cilantro Sprig; 2 cups White Rice, steamed; Also Needed:; Large Bowl; Heat Resistant Gloves; Tongs

Ingredients:

10	16/20 Shrimp, peeled & deveined with tail on
1 tbsp	Fresh Ginger, minced
6 cloves	Garlic, minced
1 tsp	Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp	Kosher Salt
1 tsp	Ground Cumin
2 tsp	Ground Turmeric
1/2	Fresh lime, squeeze for juice
3 tbsp	Avocado Oil
1	Cilantro Sprig
2 cups	White Rice, steamed

Also Needed:

Large Bowl

Heat Resistant Gloves

Tongs

Directions:

Preheat grill to medium-high.
In a mixing bowl add: minced garlic, minced ginger, kosher salt, ground cinnamon, ground turmeric, ground cumin, squeezed lime (juice only) and avocado oil.
Mix thoroughly, until it becomes a thick, chunky paste.
Add 3/4 of the paste mixture to the shrimp bowl.
Note: Save the remaining paste for finishing the dish.
Thoroughly mix shrimp until the shrimp are evenly covered.
Place shrimp on the grill.
After 2 minutes, flip the shrimp.
When shrimp are fully cooked, remove from the grill.
On new plate, scoop the rice onto the plate in a mound.
Place the shrimp around the plate around the rice.
Add some of the remaining paste on top of the rice and garnish with the cilantro sprig.
Serve and enjoy.
