IPA Grilled Salmon with Creamy Dill Sauce We didn’t forget about all you IPA lovers out there! A quick history lesson on India Pale Ales will tell you that despite their name, this style of beer was popularized in England in the mid-1800s. Fast forward to present day, and IPAs are now one of the most common beers to cook with. That’s why this grilled salmon recipe will make your taste buds crave more than just a single piece. After you’ve created an aluminum foil tray for your salmon and covered the fish with the proper seasonings, butter pads, lemon slices and green onion, it’s time to toss it on the grill and let the IPA work its magic. Pour your choice of IPA over the salmon and seal it with a top layer of foil. After about eight minutes, the rich flavors will all soak into the salmon, creating a perfect cut of fish to enjoy with your favorite beverage, or any leftover IPAs you’ve got stashed away.

Beer Glazed Brats and Sauerkraut German for sour cabbage, sauerkraut made its way to Europe from East Asia over 1,000 years ago. While sauerkraut is a headliner in this recipe, the brown sugar, mustard and onion powders, celery and caraway seeds are not to be forgotten. But we could make the argument that the key ingredient in this entire recipe is a delicious lager. Because lagers offer a light, crisp taste and are slightly less bitter than IPAs, they are the perfect complement to this sauerkraut-based dish.
