Ingredients:
3 1/2 lb hamburger patties
3 Brioche buns
2 Tbsp Butter
3 Slices Mozzarella Cheese
3 Heirloom tomatoes, sliced
Operation BBQ Relief Texas SPG Rub
Basil, fresh, chiffonaded
Olive Oil
Additional Items:
Cast Iron Skillet
Grillig Spatula
Grilling Brush
Grilling Spray
Directions:
Preheat grill to 350ºF. Place cast iron skillet on one side of the cooking grid, allowing room for hamburger patties.
Season hamburger patties with Operation BBQ Relief Texas SPG.
Place patties on the cooking grid.
After 5 minutes, remove the patties from the grill.
Using your grill brush, clean the cooking grid. Spray with grilling spray.
Flip patties and place back on the cooking grids.
After 5 minutes, remove the patties from the grill.
Using your grill brush, clean the cooking grid. Spray with grilling spray.
Flip patties and place back on the cooking grids.
After 5 minutes, check the temperature of the patties.
Note: Patties are done when the internal temperature reaches 165ºF.
When patties are done, remove them from the grill.
Place butter in the skillet and move around to melt.
Place Brioche buns, cut side down in the cast iron skillet.
When buns are golden, remove from grill. Place on a plate, cut side down.
While the buns are hot, place a slice of Mozzarella Cheese on the top of the top bun.
Place slices of the heirloom tomatoes on the top and bottom buns.
Sprinkle some Operation BBQ Relief Texas SPG Rub on top of the tomatoes.
Place hamburger patty on bottom bun.
Place Basil on hamburger patty.
Place top bun on the hamburger patty, so the cheese is against the burger.
Serve and enjoy.
