What’s better than being announced a Steak Cookoff Champion? Winning cash prizes!! Blue Rhino is offering a sweet bounty. If you cook using Blue Rhino propane and win at any SCA event in 2023 then you could be eligible to win $100. Blue Rhino will also be offering a $1,000 cash prize to anyone who cooks using Blue Rhino propane and win the following five events in 2023. Offer valid for one winner per event as determined by the SCA. Terms and conditions may apply.

Eligibility: Entry is open only to legal residents of the United States of America who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees of the Promoter(s) are not eligible to win. By participating, Entrants agree to abide by all terms of these Official Rules and to the decision of the Administrator and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Steak Cookoff Association event(s) or these Official Rules.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THE ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND ON THE NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED.
Winner Selection: The Steak Cookoff Association (“SCA”) is solely responsible for choosing winner(s) based upon each event’s winning criteria.
Bounty: The SCA will provide $100.00 bounty, produced from Blue Rhino sponsorship funds, at any 2023 SCA event in the United States. Notwithstanding the aforementioned, SCA will provide a $1000.00 bounty at the below 2023 SCA events:
5/6/2023 - BBQ Throwdown Steak Cookoff, Show Low, AZ
5/13/2023 - Pickletown Throwdown, Mount Olive, NC
6/10/2023 - Car-B-Q Steak Cookoff, Folkston, GA
6/10/2023 - Croix Valley Cookoff, Hudson, WI
7/1/2023 - River City Steak Cookoff, Mason City, IA
Any expense that may be associated with receipt or use of bounty prize that are not specifically listed herein are the responsibility of winner. All federal, state/provincial/territorial, and local taxes on a bounty prize (as well as any incidental costs that may be associated with the bounty) are the sole responsibility of the winner of that bounty prize.
Compliance and Winner Notification: Potential winners are subject to SCA’s verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. The SCA will manage all correspondence, notification and payment(s) to winner(s) for each event. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SCA EVENT MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. By accepting a prize, winners agree to release and hold Ferrellgas, and its divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, sales representatives, contractors, and advertising and promotion agencies harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by their participation or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
