Ingredients:
2 lbs Ground Certified Angus Beef
2 Sticks Butter
Operation BBQ Relief Texas SPG Rub, to taste
1 Disposable Aluminum 1/2 Pan
4 Burger Buns
4 Slices Cheddar Cheese, or any other cheese you prefer.
1
Herb Mop
Condiments, your choice
Directions:
Preheat grill to 350ºF.
Make burgers into 1/2 lb patties.
Cut butter sticks into 1 tbsp pieces.
Open patties up and place butter slices (2-3 slices per burger) into middle of the burger.
Loosely fold top back on the ground burger to form into a patty.
Tip: Keep rough edges on patties.
Repeat steps 4 & 5 for remaining patties.
Season all sides of the patties with Operation BBQ Relief Texas SPG Rub, to taste.
Place remaining butter in disposable aluminum 11/2 pan.
Place pan onto cooking grid.
Once the butter is melted, split burger buns in half and place in cut side down in the aluminum pan.
Cut cheese slices in half and place a half on the outsides of the buns (not the cut sides).
Tip: Depending on the size of your grill you may have to move the pan off to the side, or wait until the buns are toasted and the cheese is melted before proceeding.
Using herb mop, coat the cooking grids.
Place patties on the cooking grid.
Grill for 6-10 minutes per side. Burgers are done when the internal temperature reaches 165ºF.
Remove the burgers.
Let rest for 5 minutes.
Remove the buns from the pan and place on a plate.
Place burger on the bun, top with any condiments to taste.
Serve and Enjoy.
