Ingredients:
8 slices Italian Bread
1 stick Butter
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
1 lb Brisket
Directions:
Place a cast-iron skillet on the cooking grid and preheat grill to medium-high.
Melt the butter and garlic powder in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
Spread the butter mixture on each side of each piece of bread.
Chop or pull the cooked and warmed brisket into small pieces.
In a large bowl, mix brisket pieces with the shredded cheddar and monterey jack cheese. Place to the side until needed.
Place the bread in the skillet, butter side down.
After the first side of the bread is golden brown, flip the bread.
Place an equal amount of the brisket-cheese mixture on four pieces of the bread.
Take the remaining four pieces of bread and top the brisket-cheese mixture to make a sandwich.
Once the bread gets a golden color and the cheese has started melting, remove from the pan.
Serve and enjoy.
