• 5 tablespoons  Sugar
• 1/4 cup  Fish sauce
• 2 tablespoons  Salt
• 1/4 cup  Black pepper
• 2 cups  Carrots (minced)
• 1 1/2 cups  Wood ear mushrooms (minced)
• 1 cup  Bean threads ((Asian cellophane noodles) minced)
• 2 tablespoons  Bonito flakes
• 3  Spring onions (minced)
